Cheers fellas, couldn't have got them without the custom program, just way too much junk, I bet there are more in there, will be keen to hit that spot again when I buy a small coil for the CTX. Not sure whether to get the Coiltek 10x5 or the Minelab 6 inch. Probably just get the 6 inch.
 
Was that you Heath, 'the Shepherd' I saw digging up another flock of sheep today.

Later I saw his PA friends looking up a key date while detecting in a tots-lot.

And at the end of the day he was spotted protecting his honey hole

Classic mate. Dunno about the looking up of key dates, will give that a miss. :D

I don't mind sharing my honey holes. Still a bit of honey there.

Yeah the CTX is one of the best for treasure hunting, sort of complicated when you're first learning it but not that hard after a while. I downloaded the manual a couple of months before buying it to become accustomed to the settings and layout of it. It has served me very well.
 
The 61 and 52 look all right, maybe the other two just a bit more CAB,..isn't that 61 a stunner,.. really nice coin that one Heatho. :p :p

Yeah sure is, it's struck well, looks like it was dropped yesterday. It's much brighter than the other 3.
 
Still drooling.....love the badges, anything old and interesting. More goldies....I would have had a day off work by now if It were me and this spot was in driving distance :D
It will be a sad day indeed when it's finished, stuff of grandpa tales......"Well when I was metal detecting back in the teens there was this one spot....."
 
thats a nice score, looks to be in good condition too, even that cone beats the 'floral' judges badge i found last night :D
