I think some ex forum member and I are detecting Wednesday. I doubt I can convince him to travel that far though. Half hour is too far for him.

Yeah, a good 2 hours for you blokes. Both of you are welcome to come over and play anytime. Only 5 mins from my place. Wally has helped me raid it once or twice, pretty sure he got a few silvers too. The BB's were thick though, I think we got about 20 each.
City boy We are from the bush and long trips are just part of life. Often down to Sydney just for lunch or to see a show. When I'm recovered well have to organize a get together.

Hit the same spot this arvo with a mate for a couple of hours, scored a few pre decimals including the super rare 47 and some strange pendant/medallion type thing with a polished stone in the centre of it, looks like Black Spinel but probably isn't. Found an old arrow head or crossbow bolt head, it's bloody heavy for an arrow head.

Another super rare 1947 Florin this morning, Florry gods are shining on me this week. Plus a 62 Shilling and 10 bucks. Not bad for 2 hours. Heat got too much and I called it quits.
