I'd be happy to have a meet up anytime you guys like, would be awesome. Would love to see what a bunch of us could find out of there, finds are becoming fewer and further between but I'm sure there is still plenty there.

Had a few hours today at the ol honey hole, things were going very slowly with lots of junk until near the end of the hunt I found a new patch of pre dec coins. The Shilling was the highlight, 1928 Penny was in ok condition too. The ring is 2/3 junk, there is one silver ring on it, other 2 are plated. Have done a few hunts in between this and the last one, averaging about $25 per hunt, though had nothing interesting to show for the last few.

Needing greener pastures again, this spot is slowly drying up with finds, has been good to me though. :)

That's the way mate, hopefully a pocket full of goldies waiting for you.

i'll be happy with half a pocket full :)

i think its a sure thing at this spot 'the river' as long as anyone that saw me last time didn't get idea's i should be right.

Ramshead shillings seem to be the flavour of the month Heatho, it cleaned up real well with the citric. $22 for a hunt is still a pretty damned good average, depsite becoming a little more scarce. :)

Quite a few turning up for sure GP, good to see them, they are a great looking coin. No complaints here with the moolah mate. Just gotta work a bit harder for it at this spot now. Still probably plenty there, it's just hard to decide where to hit next as it's such a big area, sometimes I just wander and zigzag until I hit a patch, pretty much what I did today. It's kept me busy for 6 months or longer.

Nice hunting Heath. I got citric acid today. Can someone tell me the method? Sorry I did see it but too lazy to search. ;)
