You sure you are not planting these Heatho? :p ;) It must be a HUGE place. Nice diggin as always.

Nah mate no planting lol, it is huge, there is enough room there for 6 footy fields easy, well there are about 6 footy fields there in winter, a few kids fields too. :D Must be about 30 acres there.

The other spot has 3 soccer fields in winter, have pulled a lot of silvers and rings from this one, other side has 3 full size fields and a few kids fields too but no treasure.

Nice haul of goldies. You might need to go shopping for a bigger bucket of ice cream Heath. ;)

Hmmm maybe a bigger bucket will attract more coins??? :) It's empty again after cashing it in the other day, looking at it thinking how much more work to fill it again......

Bit of a frustrating hunt today, heaps of junk in this strip of dirt at the honey hole, managed a couple of silvers early in the session then nothing but BB's and canfetti, ringpulls and all sorts of crap, heat didn't make it easy either, glad it's a pretty shady spot though.

Coins from the last hunt after a clean up.

Treasure from this hunt, including todays silvers after a rub with bi-carb.

It is a tough life Heath, but someone has to clean out the honey hole. :D

Went to the beach today with the family, looked at all that moved sand and wasn't aloud out to play. 8.(

Got home and saw all the nuggets everyone is pulling and read the 'how's your SDC2300 going' thread ..... And all I could think was "dusty" :(

Sometimes silver is just not enough

Must be an intrusive under your oval shedding $1 & $2 coins into the soil Heatho. :D What a pastime making $$$ whilst relaxing! :)

Follow your nose and intuition Heatho,.... sounds like it was leading you early in the hunt and then you let the visual processes take over and that led you off the trail proper. ;)
Nice score though ! :p

Yeah mate, we'll have to dust off the gold detectors and get out for a propper swing. Keen to head North West though up to you know where for a detect, Hill End too though.

Moved sand hey, hmmm when you want to hit it? I'm keen. :)

Had a great hunt today, first target was a 925 sterling silver ring weighing in at 5.4g, got me off to a good start, no Silver coins though. Then the last target was an 18k gold ring weighing in at 7.6g, plus got $17 too. Both rings were in the same tree lined area that I got the other gold ring a few weeks back, the Silver one today I got just near where I finished up yesterday. The hallmark is damaged and unreadable but I did a specific gravity test and it comes right in at the weight of 18k gold.

Happy days.... :D
