London to a brick, they will have them in the can before long, they will lean on him big time.

Only 16. Where the hell is his parents they have some responsibility for how he grew up to think armed robbery is an acceptable pass time.
I really fear for our society we have people who think they are entitled because they are born here, others who come here with the same attatide thinking we owe them a life of ease and a system that claims every one is a racist biggot if they complain that some people are taking advantage of out good nature.
i shudder to think this kid will front a jidge and his lawyer will plead that he is a victim of a disadvantaged background or some other worthless excuse to justify his inexcusable behavior ..
Lock him up teach him consequences and teach him how to be a self saficient responsible member of society.
Not a thug with out a conscience and with out acceptable limits

I wish I could say more about juvanile justice on this forum, unfortunatley, I need to keep my job......needless to say , I can give you guys a brief over view of what is happening Australia wide.

These little criminals, "children" the system call them, commit some very serious crimes.
They then go to detention centres, where their supervisors school them, and do gooders take them on excursions, like shopping centres etc, not every day, but as a reward for good (normal) behaviour. Then they play up when they don, t get their own way, to the point where the supervising staff sometimes get hurt by these "children" . When the staff use force to protect them selves, the "children, s" lawyer (liars) get involved, and the kids bad behaviour is rewarded with a victims of crime compensation pay out, and the nasty staff member who was hurt by the 17 yo "child" is reduced in rank or loses his/her job and is not entitled to victims of crime pay out, just workers comp. I know of 4 cases where these "kids" have recieved big pay outs, Up to 50k and the staff members have been disciplined.
I was a paratrooper before I turned 18, just to put it into perspective, but the law says he is a child.

I have not been injued by these kids myself, however I will say that I have worked as a corrections officer for nearly 9 years, in maximum security, down to minimum, and I have never experienced violence or behaviour as bad as the poor buggers in juvanile justice do.

I wish I could go into more detail, but its a very touchy subject, but I can say that Australia was founded as Prison, and 250 years later, we travel over seas to learn how prisons there work, we buy into a system that dosnt work there and try to make it work here, our country is run by idiots.

Makes me want to arm myself when going out around here but if I do & then get searched by police then I get in the crap just because I want to protect myself. These mongrels don't care who they attack & rob, as long as they get something then thats all they care about & they know the system that is meant to protect the innocent will also protect them, specially if young. Great mates he had, just abandoned him, holefully the gutless dog caves in & squeals on the other dogs.
Pack of wankers.
I'm going to atleast keep the small pick close at hand just incase someone needs kneecap surgery.

I concur Davant the system is a farce and the do gooders have done a great job in protecting criminal rights! The days are gone of feeling safe in any situation..... There's never been a better time to be more situationally aware!

I broke my back and neck last year but got myself walking asap.... Long story short I was walking in my local Main Street about 1030am and got mugged by two young offenders.... They could see I was vulnerable because of the walking stick and bracing! Pricks punched me in the gut as they walked past caught me totally off guard they then and tried pushing me over! Thankfully I was out the front of a coffee shop and used a chair to catch my balance! Lookly my training helped me I managed to hit one in the family jewels which slowed the attack..... But I was useless and they managed to steal my backpack!!

They are known locally but nothing can be done because no witness will come forward because they know the repercussions...... Even the coffee shop owner didn't want to be involved...... Weak prick doesn't get my business anymore....

Let's hope karma comes a calling it's only time..... But still it's a shame our society's respect is all but disappearing.....

Little mongrels these days, they just deserve a good beating, not just a touch up but a real lesson. Half the problem is people like the coffee shop owner not coming forward to help get them charged, fair enough they might be scared but if nothing is done them the little dogs just get worse & end up comitting bigger or worse crimes.

They were young Ausi's but you're right it's because people have stopped standing up that we have these issues.... That old saying still apply " He who makes the most noise get the best reward" something like that! But the do gooders make heaps of noise the general public are over listening and now in fear! And the decision makers follow the noise because it attracts votes.... Crude sample I know but you guys get my drift... Stop rewarding bad behaviour! Exactly what Davant was pointing out.....

I watched it in the prisons in the late 70's early 80's when the do gooders wanted motel style accomodation and prisoners rights.... Yeah they've got rights like the rest of us don't do the wrong things so you end up in jail....

So imprisonment is no longer a deterrent.....

Anyway we could discuss this forever but it's up to us to start making some noise. I've started in my area and its gaining momentum but it's a slow process..... But I want (revenge) oops justice hahaha

do gooders and political correctness.............. the scourge of this great country......
Kids have all the rights and they know it.......
I copped a flogging if I played up and deserved it.....
I think I turned out ok :)
Never been to jail, don't have a criminal conviction,,, yeah ok the odd dui..
if I played up for the teacher I got the cane,,,,,,,
I turned out ok......
bring back floggings :)

Anyone else wonder why two plain clothed police in an unmarked car were out n about on a bush track?
Might not of been the first time this has happened, ten points to the fuzz on catching the boy, hopefully the idiot is packing a few "watch your head" bruises as they stuffed him in the back of the unmarked.

Especially after this incident, there's no way I'd be talking to anyone who claimed they were undercover police, in unmarked cars. Its basically illegal for them to do it as it puts our families at risk. The more unmarked, undercover cops there are, the more that will try to copy them with led lights from ebay and a fake badge. Call 112 or 000 if you are being told to do things by people like these and only speak to them in a public place like service station.

Young ned kellies trying to cause chaos and im glad it wasnt a prospector who they surrounded.. be careful out there guys and keep safe. If your alone always have some form of communication

Rocks are a great form of distant defence in the GT :D

No, the two that were surrounded were plain clothed cops in an unmarked car as far as i know Atom and the young bucks surrounded them demanding money. The young crims weren't masquerading as cops they way i read it.

Some compulsory hard edge military time might help cure the derelict attitude and lack of consequences these misfits have grown up with, I watched young delinquent men change into men of purpose where they exercise this overseas for juvenile and teen offenders, sure it's not going to reform them all but its a damn good start. A man without purpose is already on the road to criminality.

the guys will get off.. nobody gets locked up these days.. the judges are way too easy.. and if they do lock them up they are in major crime school and learn how to do a lot of things that are not taught in ordinary schools.. how to cook drugs, steal cars and all sorts of other useful stuff... :|

I agree, i think we need to start rethinking the way we deal with these young people. i've seen very young boys and girls (11-12 years old?) down at the bus stop in town swearing and fronting up to burly big bus drivers and you just shake your head wondering what's going on.
I did some pretty stupid things when i was younger but there was always a grudging respect for elders and the law, that seems to have been thrown out with 'peoples rights' these days. Sure, it may not have been perfect when the cops or parents could give a young bloke a hiding or solid clip behind the ears but as with most things it seems to have swung too far the other way now.
Maybe the idea of 'paying off your offence' with a stint in the forces or some regimented force might give some of these young blokes and girls a sense of purpose?
