that small bullet case at the bottom right looks like an old pin fire case.
hate to be a pain but could you take another pic of it please, that would be a rare find.

Phantom has his finds with him and is elswhere at the moment numpty,... but I can tell you that it had a little flap on the one end that opened up(even though that is in two parts now),... we are hoping to catch up again soon,... so I'll see if i can do a photo shoot of it for you then.

I think the others are, .303 big one and maybe .22 magnums?.

Don't get me wrong though,.. we still wanted the money(by the buckets full too),... however, wanting(even thoroughly) never helped with the coin today,..... but we are just discovering this site at the moment,.... it's big, and we have permission,.. and an open time limit too.

Yeah, I recon so GP,.... just have to work out where it all was,... we were just happy enough finding the place this time round,... I was knackered by the time we got back out to the car.

Last place I detected with lots of harmonica reeds and shell casings came up with some very nice coins. Whilst the coins were few and far between, it was well worth the effort regarding the quality of the coins.

We are optamisticaly hopefull with regards to even better finds than we have so far,... we're not even sure yet where the house was in relation to the mango trees,... we may even be able to find a bottle dump as well,... as we have found a large sunken bit of earth that may have been the well,... we will probe that(safely) next time.

it was an awsome day cant wait to go there again .... for a full day .. we were on a time limit but im sure that site has much more to give ... i love virgin ground .. when silver saw th snake .. i was diggin a target .. i said where is it .. i cldnt see it lol he had his eye on it bout 5 feet from where i was so i kept diggin that target tho lol cant let a little ol venomous snake dter ya when findin th goodies

I am still here,.. just nursing my arms and taking it easy,.. watching paint dry every now and again,....I did do a few small hunts, but nothing worth getting excited over just yet,.... but ya'all'll be the first to know it if I go out and dig something great up(promise).

Here's a little hunt from last week some time.

A little cats bell that still rings(no cat attached though).

And a nice little make up case(one color I'd say),... just big enough for a florin, but alas no florin found inside this one.

Just plain as on the outside.
