Still dark when I left home this morning as I had a few hours driving for today's hunt. Got home about 4.30. Results as follows.

139 bottle tops. Screw tops, crown seal, all eras.
28 full or partial cans
6 pulltabs. Surprisingly few.
21 random junk
22 relics. A stretch I know.
42 coins
= 258 targets dug!

Pic 1 is after about an hour. I got a couple of firsts, a complete "miniature boomerang" harmonica. It was about my 4th target for the day after 3 bottle tops. Also a toy motorbike. It is a Majorette from France, 1964. What remains of a Snow Cat # 35 from the '50s and probably some young bloke's pride and and joy once. Only 1 sixpence in the silver department. I hit 5 spots and 3 gave up pre decimals so I know i can return for more. All the Commonwealth coins, the sixpence and other pennies came from the first spot. I could have spent all day there but was far from home and wanted to suss out future spots. A lot of the pre ec coppers are in really nice condition.
