The 1centers can be difficult to detect and a pain to recover sometimes when deep. The 2c on the Aldin sound the same as pennies or silvers, some site have none and some sites heaps, at least now once they are gone they won't come back...... :)

The BB's come through loud and clear on the Explorer running high gain settings (amplifies responses from deeper targets). They can read up to 00:28 on the explorer, which is florin territory, though the main give away nearly every time is the pinpointed size of the target (unless on edge).

As per your line of thinking Heatho, I still dig them in the name of ground sterilisation. ;)

But you did find GOLD RJ,.. just look at the vestiges of gold plate still clinging to that old Fob Watch with a fragility suggestive of a soon to be full release,.... be it ever so small a bit,... YEEEEHAAAAH it's GOLD. ;)

Took 2 nieces down to the local park. The 6 year old got $2 and the 7 year old got an 1899 Britannia penny. Not bad for a first find. Both found with the Aldi. Good times.

Not bad at all for a first find, many go without finding a pre-dec for ages when first starting out - must be a good tutor Ramjet. :)

Ya can't hide a Florin RJ just by putting it upside down,... you concentrating too much on the yummies,... and can you actually eat dianthus and pansys ? ;)
