Not referencing anyone in particular, but I think some of you guys are going to be very surprised given the actual weight of the nugget :)

I think most people are guessing way under. Maybe even me 8.(

you may be right. I think I was to quick with my guess. But my problem is I dont have anything to compare it with lol

I must have been completely blind when I read through this post. I missed that the prize was donated by Nugget & Wal. Thanks guys, this competition, as with all the other numerous things which you do for the forum is appreciated so much, not to mention the time, advice and effort as well. Good on Ya!

Well , my stab in the dark came up at .... 1.62 g ... Something like that in my pan would create a smile that could last for a very long time ....
Thanks for being so generous with everything you Moderators do ....
Steve .

Finally decided to post my official guess ... 2.37 grams ...

I've been thinking around that size +/- for the past week :)

I also think this comp is a great idea!

Thanks to WalnLiz & Nugget!

Dave

Its going to be interesting to see the weight, it could be anything. Great job guys.

Ok so its only 10 minutes away so i'm assuming most have had their guess? By the guesses I'm thinking not many people have taken a close up photo of gold in a pan.
