GOLD or GEMSTONE FIND of Spring competition.
October, November & December.

Please read the rules carefully before entering.
All Australian members having reached 10 "legitimate" posts on the forum are eligible to enter.

Post your Gold or Gemstone/s FIND of the Season entries for Spring October, November & December 2022 below this post after 7am AEST on the 1st October 2022 up to midnight AEST on the 31st December 2022.

General Overview of Competition Terms and Conditions

FIND OF THE SEASON RULES: Please read.

- The find can be any single or multiple gold nuggets, fine gold and gemstones found in a single metal detecting, fossicking or prospecting session on one day.

- The item/s entered must have been found metal detecting, fossicking or prospecting and recovered legally by the member entering it.

- The item must have been found after joining the forum.

- The item must be found in Australia.

- You must have also posted a picture of the find in the appropriate section to be eligible to enter a monthly award. (Members finds thread, Show & Tell threads or wherever you normally post your finds)

- The find/s submitted must be found in the months the competition is active. (Items found on the last day of the final month can be entered in the following season's comp)

- The post with the DATE item/s found, must be accompanied by a picture of the find/s and a short description.

- The item entered must be clearly identified. Where possible, the only item/s in the picture should be the one/s that is being entered.

- Gold & Gemstones Find of the Season will be decided by member votes using an online polling system.

- Maximum 6 entries per member

- All winners will be entered into the Gold & Gemstones Find of the year competition and a small prize will be up for grabs.

Please refrain from commenting on every find as this will just make it difficult to keep track of the entries.

I will not enter as I am running the comps.

IF YOU HAVE NOT FOLLOWED ALL OF THE ABOVE WITH YOUR ENTRY, IT WILL BE REMOVED OR MARKED AS NOT ELIGIBLE. You will now be sent a PM asking you to read the rules before re-entering. This is just so we don't need to chase dates, wait for PM replies, and modify posts.
