Late night swing at the local park gave a few Goldies a couple of 10c a 20c, 5c and brownie 1c.....left that spot earlier than I wanted too because some dude was walking around talking to himself before hanging around the BBQ's, So I let him be and moved to the 1850s area which produced some cool finds.....
I have no idea what the silver looking thing is, I thought it may have been a Powder flask but it is rather small it does have hallmarks so I am thinking it is Silver...
Also after hitting a signal I started digging only to find Bottles and one with the Glass Tap/Top woot.

Looks to be a chunky little bit of silver gda ,... can't imagine what it is for though.
And onto a bottle dump as well mate :Y:
good stuff mate.

Very thin and came apart, inside was this grayish brown stuff which is now gone down the drain.

There are more bottles there, I was getting close to the end of my dig so I left them for next time, very deep. :)

Looks to me as though it may be a handle from cutlery
...maybe

Now there's a thought, although it is hollow inside, I will get a picture of it in two pieces. :) :Y:

Edited: Yup you're spot on mate, Sterling Silver Casing for Cutlery. :) Thank you for your insight. :) :Y:

Maybe a rounded blunt heavy gauge wire probe for next time to help find the bottles easier and dig them faster. :D :Y:

I wasn't looking for a bottle dump mate, in the picture the round tin circle thing was the signal I was digging when I chanced upon the jars and bottles.
Good thing was that there is no Grass growing on that spot so It was all dirt. :)

GDA , got yourself some superb artifacts and great ground , look forward to what you find next 8) :Y:

I am looking forward to it as well, there is so much modern mixed in with the old which is understandable in a very public place with lots of traffic, funny thing is that if I swing the detector one way nothing and then come in from the other side beep beep...it was like the pennies I found, every time I go back new signals pop up and shallow as well. :Y:
