Yesterday was a good day.
Went to bed early and woke at 12:30am for a 3am detect on the low tide.
First good finds were golf balls then for the next hour and a half only a 1c, half penny and silver toe ring.
I walked along way trying to find that sweet spot and I came up on the spot where I got the buckle ring.
I hit a nice signal which turned out to be a 9ct gold, a metre away another 9ct, then another 2 metres away a third ring, the colour suggested 22ct but its very thin and the metal is soft, the stones are fake so the ring maybe as well.
I doubled back over the area on the way back to the car and picked off a couple of coins.
It was a very enjoyable detect, nice flat calm surf not a wave in sight.
Also took the kids to the beach after a sleep for an afternoon detect and hit the deeper water but all I found was the trash heap of aluminium cans.
I made my way back to the same spot as my early morning hunt and hit on a few good targets, the stand out was a 22ct William Manton Birmingham hallmarked ring, absolute beauty.
The 9ct heart locket looks to be lined gold.
Until next time happy detecting
