It's junk, Aluminium I think, it's extremely light.

Was a great place hey, me too went there plenty of times, sure brings back great memories.

Went out for about 2 hours today, hit the oval next to the ovals I've been working for a change, got a couple of Penny's, a couple of Sixpence about $23 and a Silver ring. Could be pretty good this spot, will give it a few more goes to see if I can find a concentrated patch of goodies.

The silvers after a soak in citric acid and a rub with bi-carb. Came up looking brand new.

Rod, if you're ever over on the Northern Beaches I'd be happy to share the spots with you. Still quite a bit of area that I haven't done, they are bloody huge ovals, there are 6 big ones all within 5 mins of my place. Way too big for one bloke to detect thouroughly.
