Well after a very exhausting night delivering presents... i headed out for a detect early this morning
Was certainly very quiet and peaceful , never saw or heard a soul
About 2 hours worth

Im not sure what this is ... Its a bit crusty , but there is some detail visible. Unfortunately its probably some sort of alloy. Hence the corrosion.

Another piece of something...

Interesting little finds Sandta! Next time can you wipe your feet before walking on my carpet.. :p tah..

Three holes in a penny? Button mabey? Love the rings detail and the corroded object is very interesting ( may have been some sort of token / coin / pendant..for some reason im thinking padlock as well? ) along with the other two.

It all adds to the mental repertoire Numpty, and the more that builds the easier it is to think about finding things. You will get that PD sooner than you think if you think about thinking about it properly. I think that should help. :D

1941 & 1919 half penny
1911 & 1942 pennys

I met an old bloke who offered for me to look in his front yard... Of course i accepted
He then came out and showed me some rough old english silver coins from 1600's - WOW
Then he gave me this 1964 coin...
1451259858_image.jpeg

So i gave him a 1917 sixpence i found in his yard
We chatted for another hour on his verandah ;)

Nice Sandta, that 1910 sixpence would look nice alongside my 1910 florin and those 1951's would look nice with the 51's i'm putting together for my mother :) , 1910's minted in England i'm lead to believe :)

Take him a nice bottle of chutney(from a church fete maybe) and see if he would like you to check his back yard too Sandta,.... take the time out for another good yarn and see if he's aware of any good spots/potentials for you for other places or old stories of lost things,.... nothing like an old sharp mind that still has good stories to tell mate. ;) tell him one of your old mates said you should ask(just to break the ice on it all). ;) :D

I do have a couple of those 1964 date type coins here somewhere,... I remember looking at them as the first coins I'd ever seen from anywhere else as a young fella. :D

This arvos finds

2 pennys - one is 1917 the other is a bun head , but i cant read the date. Maybe in the daylight tomorrow.
2 half pennys - 1907 Brittania in fairly nice condition the other is a commonwealth but again i cant read the date

I found a few more goldies and 1c & 2c coins but donated them to the young kid who volunteered himself to be my pinpointer operator ;)
