Last week in Coolgardie I found a few. The smallest .48g at 5 inches. Gpx 4500, 14 inch coiltek elite. Enhanced, gain 10, stabiliser 8. Hot ground.
Wick p. That's acceptable.
What settings you running?

Thanks. Various settings. No improvements in enhance. Now I have a start on what to expect of the capabilities of the 4500. 14 inch Coiltek Elite to come later when I can afford it. Will experiment with other coils next time I go. Thanks again.

In W.A with all my mono coils I rarely ever find grounds i can run in normal settings. Too hot.. You'll end up digging alot of ground noise if your new to WA.
Go with enhanced, standard settings.
When you experience Hot WA grounds you'll see why enhanced is an improvement there.
If your feeling like you do want to play with settings, if the grounds allow, bump up gain and stabiliser up by 1-2.
I like Gain 10, stabiliser 8.
Much better to have it nice and stable.
That's just my experience from the Kalgoorlie-Coolgardie region
