Some very nice coins there Sandta, despite their condition. The mystery coin could be a George IV half penny, bust facing left, Brittania facing right. Could be one of three years, 1825, 1826, or 1827. :)

Not sure what the parallel lines are from , i certainly havent scratched it at all , only used a toothbrush on it
I thought i had finally taken a clear picture , doesnt look too clear now

You just never know what your gonna find ...
A couple of hours not too far from home this morning
I didnt really hold to much hope for this spot , but was pleasantly surprised , especially once i got home and could actually see what i found :D
I picked up a few bits & bobs , a few BB's etc nothing much really.
After about 1-1/2 hours i pulled a silver :p
Three steps later i got 2 pennies in the same hole as i stood up i got another signal about 6 inches away ... Another penny ;)
Then nothing for the next half hour so decided to head off... Thats when i got another hit.
Seems to be one of those larger early half pennies.... With a hole in the centre :(
When i got home and cleaned things up , this is what i had found

As soon as i had pushed the Lesche into the ground i knew i had scratched this one... buggar

The half penny turns out to be a token :D
So far unidentified ... I can tell its a standing figure (Brittania i suppose) and i can make out 'general' above the hole

Great hunting once again Sandta , just be careful that the zippo is not full of asbestos (I don't know if they are or not ).
The1907 looks like a bit of an older scratch,.. has the dirt been turned over mechanically in the past year ? :D
nice 1946 sixpence too. :p

Looks like the one goldpick, nice detective work! Do you know what year ?

Apparently the original shop still exists, albeit in the form of a gift shop. Most of their tokens seem to be dated between 1850-1860, though not sure what exact age this one is with no date markings.

Been getting some great finds lately Sandta, some great detecting going on here. ;)

I looked up your token, and the closest I could find that matches yours is a James Campbell General Stores token from Morpeth, NSW. :)

How cool. Yes it's still open. A gift shop but many of the original fittings and tools etc are on display. Shop/museum. Awesome find Sandta.
