I have a Eurotek Pro finally coming tomorrow or Wednesday, got held up in customs. Hopefully it performs similar to your Ace.

Not the most productive... Plenty of trash in this area

Went to a park earlier tonight... Soooo much trash i went back to the car and put on the original small concentric coil
Much better, but still hard to handle all those bell tones rattling my head

Yes GP i do have the sniper. I thought it was more suited for tight concentrated areas. This spot was actually quite a large open area, about 25 square meters, lot of ground to cover. The ground is almost silver with the amount of pull tabs scatered around , i dont think you could take a step without stepping on one( or more) cant imagine whats under the ground. Set disc. for only high end targets( and min sensitivity) ... Still plenty of non repeating signals in every swing ... Pretty well got to stop and check each signal for strong repeaters( like poker machine).
Will be going back again later this arvo when it cools down ... Different area to search

Hope you took a rake back with you Sandta,.......just gather them up(pull tabs) and get em out of the way so you can see what's under them. I'm always picking up the surface crap so that I can get to the extra good signals that are being masked, nails and all, in fact anything that is visible that I know is going to affect any signals in any way at all. Just make sure you smile at all the old girls and show em your gear so that they know you are a good boy Sandta,....That way I'm sure you will make a good impression on them, maybe even get an invite to do a bit of digging back at their place,.. just make sure you tell them you will go halves in anything good you come up with(gift of the gab mate).

mate i do my best to leave any place i visit better than when i arrived, i pick up all rubbish i have to step over and take every bit i dig out away with me to put into the bin.... Having said that im sorry to say that i did not ,and in all reality ,probably could not ,pick up all those rotten little things :8

I just get what I can each time I'm out at a fave spot so they(pull tabs etc) get less and less, and it makes it all last so much longer(bit at a time as long as no-one cuts my grass as I sleep(haha)),...plenty of finds over time at the same spots that way Santa. And like you,..I too leave it better than when I got there and cart all the rubbish away(and fleece it for its metallic values).37 years on in the same spots(the whole area used to be mine) and still you find new bits and pieces on the hunt(it's never all gone).
