Trouble is Outback, the 'Genie's out of the bottle', :drooling: :drooling: all of us who know about this want one! :goldnugget: :goldnugget: :goldnugget: But you're telling us it's not happening 8.( We're feeling like Donkeys chasing a carrot ;)

Anyway I'm off to find some wet :goldnugget: and :gemstone: for a couple of weeks ;)

The concept is the same.

People will always look at something and try to improve\Copy it. Jacks drum will be no different. People make their own Sluices etc.
If I were Jack I would strike while the iron is hot. Make as many as possible as quick as possible get them sold make the money while available. 10K in the pocket is better than none.

Jack spoke of hiring them out. If someone hires one and I likes it, I would bet they would be straight in their shed. Don't even have to hire one. A Chinese tourist pulls their phone out and takes a picture. Eventually his idea will get out. NO point shutting the gate after all the horses have bolted.

Look at all the Dry washers that are available. They are all basically the same with one or two differences KEENE, Whippet, Royal, Thompson, Gold Buddy and the list goes on.
Dont worry about trying to protect something that is not able to be protected

Jack could probably sell 10 on this Forum alone

Strike Jack

Dave63, have you seen jacks drum? What is in the drum is what makes it work so well. There has been a lot of design and I doubt many hrs put into getting the system right. And it works so well on dry ground. Yes there are drums on youtube but there concept is like chalk and cheese by what i can see. I agree, jack has to do something with his unit, and i know there is guys wanting one asap. Don't blame them. I just hope somebody jumps on board with him soon.

Don,t get me wrong i wish Jack all the luck in the world. Aussie inventors have provided the world with many revolutionary devices.

In my last post I just wanted to state some home truths. My military life has taught me to speak my mind and sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

Anyway,

I don't like talking about specific conversations I have had with people, but I think this one is information perfect for Jack to act on right now.

Someone mentioned earlier in the posts for Jack to talk to Gold Rat. I don't know if he did or didn't.

In my research to buy a dry washer I discovered Gold Rat had previously produced dry washers, but stopped due to the amount a rain at that time. While buying some items at his factory I spoke to him to see if he was going back into production.

Gold Rat and a mate are redesigning new washers for production and he specifically wanted a hand crank version in his lineup.

Here is an opening for a new partnership. I hope this helps

I was the one who suggested Gold Rat Engineering, a conversation with Dustin costs nothing and who knows what might come out of it. Dustin certainly has both the market penetration and respect plus the ability to manufacture a wide range of product in his new facilities.

I'm no lawyer, but am sure there are a few different ways of structuring business relationships to both protect the intellectual property, design and provide royalties so that Jack can move forward and have an ongoing income from what he has created.

Once in a few different hands and better publicised, the whole deal can grow to who knows where, whereas right now it is pretty much stagnant, ... no disrespect Jack.

Anyway it's Jack's decision irrespective of any comments we might make.

Was curious if Outback was ever going to go forward, certainly there is interest that would readily be converted into sales. I too hope something may come from a potential discussion.

With everywhere being shut down and locked up, and drying out could well be the next big thing, even just as a sampling unit it looks easy and foolproof. Im pretty sure every market (commercial and hobby) from every state would be interested.

Even if Jack bundled up the concept and sold off the IP and a prototype thats got to be better than being beaten to the market, or not creating a market at all.

It's a shame Jacks desidn won,t hit the market for fear of copying. As stated hire them out people will take photos and build there own, not because there crooks but because Jack isn,t selling them. If the dry blowers are as good as Jack states, he would have no trouble selling a genuine Jacks dry blower.

Hi all , thought I should tell whats happening with the Jackwinder of late .

First ' I had a rough idea about making a dry unit that would be better & different to all before .
I wanted it to be hand operated & still be able to concentrate lots of material quickly without loss of gold .

So the mission starts back in 2013 , I work at it with an obsession & throw heaps of $$$ into it & get a metal fabricator to make design after design .
2014 ' I have a good working design ' I ask Davesgold to test on the field , he runs a tiny about of dirt & it works and finds gold that detectors can't see .
That design was complicated ' made from aluminium , expensive to make .

2015 - I start working on a a new concept & test more variations of this ,
2016 - I now have what I think is it , my old mate Barry & I test them out on the field with top results , but not good enough for me .
2017 - I change the shape of the design & internals ' I'm trying to get the thing to be faster & 99% efficient .
2018 - I keep testing whilst making more changes to try & figure out why it's not a performing perfectly .
2019 - I found the answer at last :D in Feb this year !

The JackWinder is fast & super efficient .

Cant be released at the moment because a third party is involved with a scaled up version licencing deal regarding open cut gold mining .

Thanks for your interest
Jack .

The mining company will be your best friend or your worst enemy Jack.

Been there, done that in a similar outcome.
Still paying for it and for years to come.

It was mentioned about Gold Rat engineering, is there a problem with Dustin?
He seems like he would benefit you the best, $$$ wise and maybe a better deal.
