Today I bought... $1100 of new suspension under the boss lady's car.
Rattles be gone!
Well that was a bad move. Now you wont hear the boss coming so you can look busy.

Got these in the mail today, thought they were pretty cool and could be used as a prize maybe?

Hi All
If your looking for a fridge slide have a look at this, it slides out then drops down by 300mm to make access to the fridge much easier, I paid $580 worth every $

Hi rc62burke, I had a good look at those, very impressive, but we are both 6 footers so height was not a problem.
If I was vertically challenged that would be a must have.

and trenchfighter I had a look at the big brand names but got this for $250 off flea bay, glad I did, it handles my 47L EvaKool loaded with 2 slabs easily.

Picked this up early this morning. Owner had bought it and used it twice and got it at a steal

Today I bought a Minelab Pro-Find pinpointer. :)

Dozer,

I have one as well. Great tool to minimise hole depth and locating exact location of target. You can instantly tell if the target is out or still in the hole and the beeps increase in intensity until a constant tone is heard when you smack bang on the target. Would not be without it.

I ve been using mine almost daily for a month and the 9v battery has just started to get low.

I wonder if nugget hunters use them? All the videos I ve watched they use plastic scoop or halving handfuls of dirt over their coils? Pro-Find would make light work of this task.

Regards

No, I don't for no other reason as I am still not 100% convinced they will work properly or to 100% efficiency on highly mineralised gold bearing ground or interfere (EMI wise) with the GPX detectors. I acknowledge they are excellent for parks and beaches. Funnily enough - when I am into a quartz reef I use a VLF Xterra 70 to pinpoint and check for small species in quartz lumps. Excellent bit of kit.

Do you make your own maps? Office Works (I have nothing to do with them) have 'B5 Slim Kraft Notebooks' 30 pages (that fold out to A4) and they come as graph paper (that's graff for we Victorians), ruled or blank. $2.59 each. I am just doing up some maps as we speak on the graph books. They are bound and robust enough for the bush. I use one for rough maps then transfer and tart them up later. The lined ones make excellent journals as well for field notes. The blank ones? No use but I am a sucker for stationery.
