Love the Led Lensers axeman, puts real light where you need it, not like the tinkytoy so called head lights... Guys if you are looking for a new head mounted light, spend the cash and get a LED LENSER, you will not be disappointed, you can pick up a pack from masters for around $70.

Cheers, Tone

I bought some spare personal fly nets just in case there are some at camp that forgot to get one. I learnt long ago while working at Woomera to always carry one. There is nothing like swallowing or breathing in flies.

G'Day all

Today I bought a "rubber" thong - two actually as you cannot buy just a single thong - and a plastic tube of silicone that you use with a lever pump thingie. Sharpen the bottom inside edge of the tube of silicone until its quite sharp. Then gently use to cut out a circular disc from the thong. Put a hole in the exact middle of disc of thong material and use in your yabbie pump. Brilliant!!! - a tip from an old timer.

This means you always have cheap usable replacements for when the innards of your yabbie pump either fly out into the creek after a particularly aggressive suck of gravel or they simple wear out.

Make sure its the right diametre for you yabble pump.

I bought these as loaners for newcomers who might not have their own gear, but I will be giving away a couple of pan sets though :)

My Garrett super sluice arrived in the mail today.
I got it from detect a den, Brad gave me the discount for being a member here and mailed it out pretty promptly.

Now to find some gold with it...

4 new tyres and a wheel alignment. The Prado is just itching for a long drive. I can feel the vibes and its sending me messages " drive me to Nundle, drive me to Nundle".
So looks like I'M GOING TO NUNDLE"
