Cutting a chain with an angle grinder today, finished the cut, and with bare feet stepped on the link I cut off. Now I know, how animals feel after being branded. The hot link, has burned an impression of itself, into the sole of my foot. Silly sore me lol

No other takers RKT,.... looks like a club of your own today,.... now if we went back about 34 yrs and had me looking at an engine in a car and then stepping backwards onto two inches of nail sticking out of a lump of timber,.... straight in the foot,.. through the sandshoe and all,.... ripped the foot straight up off it and took myself to the ambos Mrs,.... shoe was full of blood,... can still feel the wound under my foot right now when I touch it,... stupid part about it all was that I had seen the nail before looking at the engine and thought to myself that's dangerous and I better not stand on that, my Dad would never leave nails sticking up like that,.... at least I never leave nails sticking up dangerously like that,... EVER.

Today I was stupid.
Had a water leak in the heater of the car. :|
Yep, 10 minute fix as it is only a couple of O rings.
6 Hours later, Fixed.

Hi Rocketaroo, with my background one doesn't live life without doing something stupid....

I was cutting 3mm ally with a 5" 1mm wheel in my angle grinder and got so engrossed in getting the job done and rushing it to get inside for tea.....
well as most of us know cut-off wheels are an excellent tool when used correctly but equally as dangerous, I got the little bugger jammed in the ally and before you know it bang!!! the blade hand grenades and the cut-off wheel flies off to all points of the shed... mine blewup and a piece of blade bounced off my safety glasses and hit the roof of the shed which my missus heard inside the house, another piece hit me in the family jewels... and believe me it hurt and I just couldn't look at the damage before investigating by hand first, no blood?? in all honesty I thought I'd lost everything...but nothing except bruising....phew!! relief. What I think saved me I was wearing heavy denim shorts..
And the missus didn't even come out to investigate to see what the noise was....I was looking for sympathy..hahaha.. maybe a gentle rub.. stay safe
