One wonders what would happen if your car broke down and you had to walk to a servo to get help or to go to the pub and find out it wasnt fancy dress

We didn't do any driving in that outfit. Here is what I posted in the 'disturbing avatar' thread.

"Bahaha. With some friends we rent a beach house every year for a weekend. Sometimes we have a theme night. This disturbing pic was from one of the best. There was about forty of us all dressed up in our Rocky Horror finery. The house is huge and we arranged all the lounges in rows and projected the Rocky Horror movie in the wall. It was a top weekend. There was a couple of weddings over the road at the beach but all the cars were circling the Block were taking pics of us."

I did some cooking on the gas grill last night, and the missus came in this morning and said the grill had been left on all night - whoops! Thank my lucky stars it was still ignited, otherwise we might have been sitting charcoaled in a crater today, or several hundred metres away. :8

Thing I like about it, 4wd, Drive a few hundred Click's, No worries,
Car cost me $18.00. Yep, Had $5,500 spent on the motor.
Drove it home and it spewed oil everywhere.
They gave up on it.
They forgot to replace a turbo seal. :D

I love my Alfa :) but every now and then, well most weeks, it decides to malfunction in some silly way. Recently it told me to attach snow chains, as the temp was minus 10 or something...was a hot day though. I just laughed, crazy car, but its a great drive.

I also drive an imported European car. $800 Barina is my little run around. Mrs Ramjet was worried I'd get knocked off the motorbike so she bought it for me. First car I've had in a long long time. Must admit I don't miss the cold wet rides home.

Crikey Ramjet you gave my little grandkids night mares, I won't repeat what they said hahaha
