Looks like you guys had a ball, more florins for the collection, another rare token, and what must be the first arrow I've seen detected on the forum. :)

Actually the 2nd arrow I've found. Both laying on the ground. The other is from last year. https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=107495#p107495

Had a closer look at one of my finds from yesterday. I thought it was just scrap aluminium. It was very deep and I was disappointed when I pulled corroded aluminium out so I didn't check it and dropped it in my bag. Turns out it's an aluminium Baker's token. You can see ONE LOAF on one side and at the bottom of the other side is BAKER and WALLSEND. Probably from Ford & Sons but I haven't found the exact one yet.

I was a good boy and mowed the lawns today....then went for a swing.
It was only a couple of hours around where we were yesterday. The only predecs are a roo penny and a really worn 1877 sixpence. She was a tricky little devil, very quiet and skittish. I called a deep, small silver but she wasn't so deep, 10 cms, and standing upright in the soil which is probably why it registered deeper. A couple of nice buckles, some lippy for Sat night and a live .222 round made for an interesting arvo.

Plus a pouch full of trash.

Dug a couple of those rings on the beach with the sea hunter
certainly gets the heart rate going rattling around the scoop

The pocketwatch was an awesome find, even better that it was on video. Got a long way till I get my you tube clips right, just a bit too quiet, probably should have used the open rear cover for better audio. What software are you using for your clips again Ramjet? :)

I have 2 different covers for my cams. One is fully waterproof and muffles the sound badly. The other is waterproof to only3 meters and has holes to let the sound in better. Trouble with wearing it on a head mount is the mikes are just next to my right eye and it picks up every sniffle and breath. Sometimes sound like I'm enjoying myself WAY to much. :8 Though it still doesn't pick up sound unless it's pretty close. Eg. Mostly you can't hear Rocket's side of the conversation. He really is a chatterbox. ;)

I actually drilled a hole in the cover of an El Cheapo Gopro in front of the mike. Improved the sound immensely. If you don't need fully waterproof it may be worth buying a cheap extra cover and drill a hole.

I'm using Cyberlink Powerdirector 12. I want to update my laptop and buy Version 13. Pay for the premium and it's free updates forever.

Thanks Ramjet, the headmount wasn't the best, found myself sometimes showing finds that weren't actually visible to the camera, practice makes perfect I guess. Will just have to try to not mumble to the camera, though feel a bit silly talking to myself out aloud sometimes, people passing by probably thought I was a nut job. :D
