Just watched a classic Australian comedy titled " The Nugget".Starring Eric Bana. Set in Mudgee and is about three guys who are road workers by day and prospectors on the weekend,eventually finding the mother lode.

Both excellent movies,have watched The castle four times and still love it.Funny thing was I have given a copy of the castle to the neighbours to watch and they did not think much of it, the humour just went straight over their heads.

I've seen that show and it is outstanding - very interesting perspective on the Klondike gold rush and the last episode has the adventurers trying out traditional methods of alluvial mining.

I greatly enjoyed the program - love that rugged country, but wouldn't want to go though all those rigours 100+ years back (or even today!)
