Nice work Numpty, that's a great total, beats my highest for 1 session by nearly $20.

i new i had a fair few in my bag and was wondering if i beat the day at the river, i was hoping it was about $40, couldn't believe it when i counted it

quick outing last night.

1951, 52 pennys, best condition coppers iv'e found so far .

No resizing necessary Numpty if you lower the resolution on your camera, mine is set to 640x480. Just go into the settings before you take the photos and resolution should be one of the options.

thanks Heatho i know very little about cameras, worked out ok didnt have to resize this time but i did for my avatar.

Resizing is best as the photos become part of the historical record of PA,... even long after we are all gone to the happy hunting grounds for the everlasting hunt on sprightly pegs, those that follow will look in awe at all of our exploits and be inspired still,... we are already part of history being avidly sought in days yet still to come,... yet already,... here they be for some.

iv'e actually been thinking that myself Dave, i really like the old detectors but i do like some of the options on the digital units just not the sound of them.

the hole place has produced most of my finds but i did get around $110 from that 10 x 10 patch, probably around $140-150 total plus about 8 PD's.

i should hit the river again! .

haven't been out much lately so not much to show but i did get my oldest coin about 2 weeks ago 1914 half penny.

went out tonight for an hour and didn't expect much at the place i went to, i just wanted to get out!, 1st target 1912 penny you beauty my oldest coin now $6 in coins too so im more than happy.
