at the river again tonight for an hour and a half, $10.38 i think?, covered fuel costs for the last few hunts anyway :).
not sure if i found the pendent that goes with the chain i found the other day, it doesn't fit real well but the mounting ring may be squashed a little, would look a bit 'how ya go'n' for a blokes pendent, i certainly wouldn't ware it!.

the silver was quite scratched and didn't look nice at all so a quick polish and it looks a lot better, not the stone though :( .

By that stack of coins it looks like the new detector is not too far away

yep its very interesting mate, i feel like im a 48 year old kid again, im having fun.

i think the token was probably used when ya took ya cloths for a wash

It's a real lottery on what you will find on each outing, with strange items turning up when you least expect it. That's what makes it exciting for me, and no doubt for yourself Numpty. ;)

I see a lot of those Swiss made vending machines were originally purposed as cigarettte dispensers, but were later reassigned for selling small original artworks, amongst other things. :)

yeah i really like the idea of the unknown, ya just never know what ya gunna find.

this is the 1st one iv'e seen, very plain and cheap but still interesting :)

back to the same place during the week for maybe an hour, scored a half penny and my 1st roo penny :).

got a very faint signal that i dug and recovered an old royal life saving medal, 1961 intermediate star, i was lucky it was a night hunt or i probably wouldn't have heard it.

i wont show what happened to the penny's when i cleaned em in the vinegar and salt solution

You could show the penny numpty, just so people know what not to do,... no shame in that at all. ;)
great night time hunt,... and wow,... that life saving star came up great,... find of the month comp gear that one. :D

quick hour tonight at my PD spot, only 1 pd, damaged 1962 sixpence.

$17.47 in spendable's was a surprise, only really had PD's here, there's been some temp fencing put up so its probably the workers sitting down for lunch that dropped it.

the earring is very thin but strong might be silver?.

keep on topp'n those change tins up!

Good coinage numpty,.. and silver is silver even at 50%. :p
The earring may have a tiny marking on it somewhere,... that's where a search with a loupe is a good thing (can be very revealing) ;)

you just reminded me to look at it silver, thanks.

i have an old loupe here that i use for other things and have used it a few times on my finds.

yeah the cash was a bonus, didnt expect it here :D into the "new detector" funds tin ;)

yes silver is silver  , i didnt mean to sound so ungrateful  :D....... i would have been happy going home with the one silver, the PD's are the only reason i go to this spot but spendable's are a nice bonus :)

Yeah mate sounds like a thumbs up plan :D I hope the spot I've got setup gives us some good yields.. I gotta take the steel rake ;)

If we have the time we can have a swing around some shafts I havnt done yet as well or save for another day
