Only got an hour in today b4 the mozzies tried to carry me away. Lol. Happy to see a 1890 britannia penny pop out on my first target quickly followed by a pair of florries (47-54)on my way back to my car snagged a 42 roo.
. This was my first time at this site so i was unsure what depth to expect. As it turned out they were about 6'' down while the rain has only penertrated 3''.
Morning hunt at a site that has produced very well in the past.
. Arvo hunt at other end of the same park.
one lonely goldie for the day. Damn BB's where every where. Hope i havent offended the GOBLIN somehow. Or are we all to be cursed on this forum. Rocket please make your little friend happy , mount him or put him on display (pride of place) whatever it takes. For the good of the forum i beg you.
Ha, I've finished my gold detecting trip and will be back park hunting this week to smash that goblin curse, will be silvers left right and centre, I'm overdue again for a gold ring too.
Good luck mate. I had to drop off my car for repairs today so had 4hrs to kill. Up to nearest park. Started fine a sixpence But i scratched it bugger. Gridded the area aprox 10 meter square. You buety a Florrie. But i nicked it bugger. A button with what looks like a St George lion. Then it started BB after BB. 5 in a row. Finished off with a pair of goldies in one hole. Got the call car is ready time to go. As i am taking photo's my AT pro fell over and stapped the mount. Bugger.
. And when i picked up my car it cost $150 more than he said. I wont mock the GOBLIN ever again. Cheers.
Fixed the pro (longer screws) hit tha same site as monday planned to cary on where i left off. Crossing the park i got a very good signal recovered this
could it be a cart wheel. Any way
A change of plans i started gridding there instead.
although the BB goblin showed up for 8X1c i will take that as just a reminder of what he can do. Lol or not.
after a light scrub. Appears to have text on the rim /edge. Now soaking in olive oil will check in a few days.
