Seems when the issue of 'drugs' is raised, we collectively lean towards the illicit drugs scene...
But what of the growing (at an alarming rate tbh) rate of Prescription abuse?....do you also deprive the ChemCo's (and by association, their 'patients') of oxygen as well?? Not every 'addict' is dressed in rags with pick marks up their arm...many are well known identities from a range of endeavors and socio-economic sectors of the community
And NO...i'm not defending the 'trade' of drugs, just shining light on an area that got overlooked.
The 'USER' is the one making a choice to feed the industry...the growers and sellers are just filling the supply chain role...were there no drug 'addicts', it may well be Fuel, or Alcohol or guava...it seems to me, each generation breeds a larger proportion of disenfranchised folks.
What we need is population control (scientific papers aside) globally....this would benefit the planet and US. Too big an issue to fix in a few posts.
