I think it is referring to the fact that back in the day people didn't do stupid **** to protest against things (in this instance climate change).
How blocking traffic in Melbourne peak hour or throwing paint on priceless art work (I think this has happened quite a bit in Europe) is going to get people to support you and the cause you are trying to highlight is lost on me.

Only 1 road in the NT has an unlimited speed now... All others are 130kmh... They wanted to reduce them all, but pressure from car manufactures persuaded them to keep 1 road for testing..
