Hi Santa,
Do you see many other detector people up your way. I had six new years day here.

As long as we don't hear about six shallow graves in the sand dunes(ha ha ha heeheehee,...still laughing at myself here),(sorry).
I agree(concur wholeheartedly) sandta, some times we just have do it for the exercise,...and the money, and the treasure, and the mates, and the fun, etc etc etc, add infinitum .

Back to the beach this arvo...(wednesday)
Not much has changed ( sand wise) ,but less swell and more favourable tide/time , so managed to hunt the lower area better.
$7.90 and a 12" shifter( ya dont find them everyday...)

Hey Rodger, i regularly hunt this beach along side another bloke(gday mate,im sure your reading this) i have seen a few others at times on different beaches

Silver, dont forget the scenery .... Definitely enjoy the scenery

Someone wore that one to death(just about), still on the money I see(battery and fuel covered).

Monday evening..Straya Day ...
Got absolutely soaked ...but, had the beach to myself
Found a nice little patch of crustys for my efforts
$7.71 and a stainless steel dog tag

Usually the goldies that come out are clean , this one must have had something coppery resting against it

Im pretty sure there is lettering stamped into the tag, will clean it up later and post another pic

Those goldies have a pretty high copper content all by themselves, maybe you are getting closer to an older level of nee-re before exposed decimals.

Fingers crossed :p
The forcast is for big sea conditions this coming week .... So ill be looking( if work doesnt get in the way that is)
Thanks for pm's ... Cheers

Wednesday night ... What a wild night !
The swell was rolling in , the wind was howling and the rain was COLD
Had to work so quickly when the wash rolled out before it would surge back in half way up the beach
I got swamped twice ... and nearly fell over when the second wave washed out the hole as i stood on the edge trying to stop the target getting washed out or down further.
Who in their right mind does this stuff?
Dug out $ 7.20 and what i believe is a white gold ring ( cant see any markings... Probably warn away) before calling it quits.

Nice hunting Sandta!

For your sake I hope you are correct but I think the ring was plated by the zoomed photo above....

I also use fishing waders when the weather is bad and cold making the experience a little more pleasant... ;)

Gday Pauly, mate i took about half a dozen pics trying to get a decent photo, without great success( as usual)
I hope its real too. The pic makes it look coppery in places but it is actually infact very silver all over, quite shiney...

Gday RJ ....

I went out again last night... Low tide a bit after 11pm
A bloke must be mad .. :8 ... The seas are HUGE
I did actually find $1.20 ... 2 coins , before going home to bed , where i should have been to start with
Conditions are predicted to get worse over the weekend
Fingers crossed that leads to some great hunting opportunities in the coming week
