Just a cheap one mate, still silver though. Will hopefully get something nicer later this week, overdue for gold I reckon, got to be some turn up soon.

Hit the ol honey hole again today with the new coil, wanted to test it some more in the trash filled areas. Managed to get a silver ring plus another weird ring with 2 holes in it, thought it was a ring at first but now thinking it's a silver bezel from some sort of jewellery, gives the right signal and TID for sterling and it's not plated, gives the right colour streak on a streak test also, I'm calling it silver. It fits a shilling absolutely perfectly, anyway it's got me a bit stumped. The 925 hallmarked ring was quite deep also, one of the deeper rings I've found, must have been there quite a long time.

Got a half penny and a sixpence also plus a few goldies.

Bit more swinging today, hit a couple of spots down near Narrabeen lagoon that I've done before and found quite a few silvers, first spot gave up nothing but jusk, second spot gave me 2 silvers, a sixpence and 47 florin from a very trashy little mound of dirst where I found quite a few silvers before, still swinging the 10x5 coil and testing it out, really liking it very much. Massive amounts of trash at these sites though, found most of the moderns yesterday and the silvers today, plus 2 hunts worth of junk.

Mate, you're certainly cleaning up the junk targets and it's interesting to note that the little coil is able to isolate the goodies from amongst the trash targets, had a similar experience yesterday with two half pennies; still got the L plates on with this combo at this stage though.

Gave my sore knee a rest for a few days and hit the honey hole this morning for 1.5 hours. Pretty slim pickings, no silver coins but still a few penny's and half penny's plus a silver pendant. I've really flogged this area, not much left there now, need some new spots. :|

The 2 silver coins are the previous silvers cleaned up.
