Back to the honey hole this arvo with the small coil to work some more trashy sections. Got a 1954 florin in among the junk and a few moderns. Not a bad hunt at all. Was moving pretty slow and relaxed today just pacing myself among the trash. Loving the 10x5 coil. :)

Cheers vfellas.

No, was a quiet night last night Rod, just trying to go low and slow, ate too much sushi as well, detecting on such a full tummy needs slow going. :D

That has to be a rare hunt for you Heath, not very often you go out and return with ZERO

a fraction of a zero in this case ;)

Continuing on from yesterday back at the honey hole the goldies were coming thick and fast today, I have detected this area before with the 11" coil and got a heap of deep silvers but I can't believe how many goldies I missed to to the heavy trash. Getting back in there with the smaqll coil just really opened it up again, there were a few recent drops from the footy season but a lot were still pretty deep and right next to bits of aluminium can. Only 2 sixpence though and 3 penny's, I didn't miss many silvers on the first run. :)

Very happy with the small coil GP, anyone with a CTX should get one if they have trashy areas in the places they detect. Would have more than half paid for itself already.
