Did a couple of hours this morning, found a Shilling, junk ring and about $10 in change. Was soo humid I packed it in after 10AM.

Amazing how long you can make a hunt last just for the one silver coin before going home, even if it means sweaty underwear. :D

Was horribly sweaty mate, felt like I was melting, that 1 Shilling made it worthwhile though. :)

Rocket, yes very shiny after a CAB, best silver cleaning method I reckon as it was filthy before it.

Silver, yeah one silver is good silver, any at all makes me happy. :)

You are going to have to drag that ctx around the goldfields Heatho, you're getting some good hours up on it.
Plenty of treasure yet to be discovered out there.
:)

I am very interested in doing that Reeko, will probably buy a 10x5 Coiltek coil for it though as the 11 inch coil would not handle the rough ground I reckon, would be shredded in no time.

It does ping SDC sized nugs but they have to be very close to the coil. Would be perfect for the Iron junk filled spots.

A florin will do for the day, great work Heatho! The value of gridding from multiple directions proves itself again. ;)

Are you finding many of the florins sitting on edge, or are they usually sitting reasonably flat in the hole?

Wow Heatho, that's some die crack on the 51 ,.. both cleaned up beautifully ! :D

Dunno about die crack Silver, do you think it is? I thought I scratched it but it almost seems I couldn't have done that much damage to it.....

Anyway here's a close up mate, die crack or over enthusiastic retrieval?

That gouge out of the top before the line is pretty deep, would be hard to accidentally scratch that out of it, could have been something on the die when it was stuck, hmmmm. Thanks mate.
