Wow ,... they came up really nice,... love that Florin ,... love em all. :p

Was pretty happy Silver as it was only a quick hunt. Gives me a bit of a new area at the big long paying honey hole. :) Can't believe I missed this area, hard to remember all the spots I've done at this place, gotta start using the CTX's GPS more.

Todays hunt was pretty good, went back to the new spot where I got the 5 Florins, got a few more silvers today. Difficult park to detect, the auto sens on the CTX went as low as 5 today and was still pinging targets. Not sure if it's meneralisation or EMI causing the low depth, might try a ground balance there next time.

Is that another Florin there Heatho, on the left of the two pennies ?
And the 23 halfpenny should buff up aok ! :D

Great hunt Heatho, very satisfying to see results from research. I have the same sensitivity issues with the Etrac in some of our local parks, mainly due to the basaltic soils pushing the auto sensitivity way down. At least you have the ground balance option available to you, hopefully it will do the job. :)

I'm not sure what it is causing the low sens GP, will try a GB next time to see if it makes a difference. Maybe mineralised fill was brought in? Interesting issue though.

The 43 has a nice highpoint still on the star.
The 28 may be a soft strike, but by the star and the emu body I'd class it as worn down a little before being dropped,... still a nice trio of silver though. :p :D

Yeah your right Silver after a closer inspection, the back of the 28 is quite worn down. Still nice but definitely a bit worn. Oh well. :)
