Got my 1st Sun Baker Saturday 0.256gram with moss :lol:

was a bit hard to spot it at first ( Needed a pair of them flash sun glass,s )

These were from the same area .
Suday was recon day at Heatcote again

2 were the same area 1 was at a spot ive been to before
But NO new Honey Hole yet

Yer was hard to spot tho intill it rolled over
I put it in a speccie jar as is and put with the collection

Chewy the moss is his camo gear :lol: and it worked well that was amazeing to get in the area it came from
Like the area has been smashed over the last ??? years of detecters
So me thinks that moss dont grow real fast ....... so it been on the surface for awhile

Had my best tally today for 21 with only 10 shot in 4 hours. Yesterday was a different matter for 15 in 8 hrs with well over 50 shittys. Gave the new 15 Evo a go for a couple hrs each day for nothing so reverted the old vacuum.

The elite 14 inch. I actually had it running not to bad today and it picked up a couple of my test pieces no problems. Just have to get it over some thats big enough to pull me up with a good signal. Ran some tests today with a mate with a 4500 and it matched his and he found 2 bits today. So buggered if know. :/

Struggled to get a grip on the 15 Evo as was picking up heaps of ground noise. Not sure if it was just the wet ground or not? Put a couple of the bigger bits I got down and would pick them up but just sounded like noise I'd been hearing and ended up being just ground noise. Even ran the sdc over what I dug just in case?

As I don't get out to often I find it can be hard to get used to what to listen for but once ya get a good target it stands out but easy to forget that's why I revert back to the sdc. Probly not a good idea for learning purposes but I got to go home with a rattle

I found a couple rocks last sunday that had a good tone to them especially one of the rocks, they weren't your normal sounding hot rock so i thought i would take them home and make myself a dolly pot and a rock crusher. I went through the scrap metal pile from work to make them up.

Its a bit of a work out using the crusher lol made it a bit big but it works.

The top 2 were no good.

and theses 2 were sitting in my back yard for months i just forgot about them but i do remember they also had a good signal.

The little gold nugget is in there.

I haven't weighed it yet, still got to clean it.
