Here's the nugget after cleaning it but still has some ironstone that i couldn't get off, was thinking of putting it in Hydrofluoric acid.

G'Day SC75,
I live and detect in NSW, been down to the GT in Vic a couple of years back but prefer to research the NSW goldfields.
Mate, I would stay well away from hydrofluoric acid, that stuff can be deadly, it takes no prisoners if you come in contact with or breath the fumes.
Cheers, SinHof.

Hi guys and gals,
We've been missing for a bit because the gold gods have been calling us. We made it to Karratha to visit some friends after our trip to Shark Bay. These guys are into prospecting so we just had to put in a few days in the Pilbara to try our luck.

There are still a few in the acid so the total is around 100g, by far our best prospecting trip

The only reason I thought about using it SinHof because we store it at work but yeah I've never used it before and end of the day it's probably not worth using it. Cheers mate.
