A few from today. Met a lovely couple in the field today and we all had a guess at the weight. We were all wrong haha. Was heavier than we thought!
Champion Walshie good onya mate. I'm over at the mo. Slug gun pellets is what I been finding. Lol

Caught up with Chewy yesterday in an area I havent been to before. Lots of shotty pellets and rubbish but did pull out a cpl. Hopefully Chewy will be able to get something today. He was pulling up pellets so all he has to do now is walk over it.
Some nice looking gold there Walshie and Steelpat. Good on yous.

No luck today either Pat. I raked 3 spots heading up the hill where the quartz was shedding down but just 1 bit of rusty rubbish from it. Couple of ground noise signals that sounded legit but then went squirly and moved around. I'm heading to Beaufort tomoz to catch up with Fletch. So we'll see how I go there. Thanks for the encouragement SC75 it gets a bit depressing sometimes and I wonder what I'm doing wrong. But the test nugget sounds no probs. Hope you clean up out at Beaufort chewy.
I went out with mattsgold yesty to one of his spots (thanks Matty). Both got a few rattlers for the day. Matty wins most nuggets for the day, he ended up getting a signal in a huge slab of bedrock which ended up being 9 nuggets all up. The old timers had surfaced down to bedrock but some gold had made its way in. We spent a good hour smashing bedrock to get the little nugs out. Was an awesome day!
10 for me and 14 for matty which is a new record for him for most nugs in a day. Well done mate!

Yeah was a top day i had a ball even though they only weighed 1.5 grams all up was awesome finding them.
first time I've done a little hard rock mining.
i couldn't believe the signal. was screaming and blanking out and carrying on for a few little nuggies.

Was awesome to check out a new spot and get a few for our troubles. Haven't weighed mine yet, I'll be lucky to have a gram I reckon.
Yeah I got very lucky that day, can't remember how many it was but the gold outweighed the trash which is vary rare as you know. If only it was like that every day!
Can't wait to get out again and return the favour and take you to one of my spots mate.
