Is this the smallest cannon ever made. It's 30mm long, the barrel is hollow, and the touch hole goes into the barrel, so I guess you could fire it if you wanted to. A bit of black powder up the barrel, and some on the touch hole and a small projectile rammed down the barrel. That'd be fun! Found at Betley years ago. wiley.

An old greenstone pendant I found a few years back. Probably dropped by a Maori prospector back in the gold rush. The lead I found it in was rushed in 1910. Unfortunately I hit it with my pick and snapped it. Super glued together. wiley

Some inkwells, bottle stoppers, and small bottles I've specked. Does anyone know what was in the little bottles? wiley.

The small glass bottles are shear top ink bottles they will have a pen rest on each side of the neck.

They are called cabin ink bottles, as they are less likely to tip over on sea journeys, and the grooves stop your pen from rolling away and getting lost in rough weather.

Some cuff links I've found over the years. The bottom, right one has a mother of pearl inlay, and the top right item could be for a neckerchief, as it has a spring loaded loop on the back. It still works! wiley.

A crucifix from the gold fields. It's got a loop on the top, so It may have been on a set of rosary beads originally. wiley.

I’m curious about it too Wiley, as I’ve found this one and not sure what it may represent. Mine came from 1930’s era house site..... it looks like it may have been a badge. Same size as yours by the looks.

Very similar Ozz. I googled swastika, and it said it was also a Greek cross. Mine's got a loop on it, so it may have hung off a fob watch chain. wiley.
