Wife's Fire Fighting Gear.

So this afternoon we had the reason to put on the gear for real, about 2pm a huge dark cloud of smoke moved over us and it looked fairly ominous and threatening and then the southerly came through with a blast, it went even darker and was almost about the same light as a full moon night, ash and leaves were falling at a rapid rate and we watched and waited. Around 4pm the smoke started to split and go either side of us and by 5pm we could see clear sky to the south. Then we heard our local drug dealer start up the noisy car motor and then do a burn out up and down the road, so figured that the danger must be over for the present, he knows the Police will be busy, so he can give the back tyres a real workout.

Just looked out our back door and there is one black huge cloud of smoke from a fire at Comberton Grange about 10kms to the north of us and the fire is heading towards Nowra, from reports that fire is now out of control due to the southerly and people in the southern sections of Nowra are being warned to be ready to leave.

Manpa, no the druggie does not use the car to check, he went out on the motor bike not long after he did the burnouts in the car, his father is due for release shortly also for drugs. If the son was also locked up we would have no traffic using our road of a nighttime, but then possibly the daughter would take over the business. :skull:

Got everything he deserved, less than 300 metres to the local primary school.

Seen quite a few pics etc from friends in nowra area last few hours on FB,my brother and his family have left there house at fishos,looks terrible over there,best wishes to all......
