Blokes got to have a few typos every now and then, :8 but I "prey" that the pressure will surprise you.

Mine up in mount Isa I expect maybe 3-4 grams/ ton or more , I have a plan to shovel 750kg dirt and drive to the water :) I hope for 3 grams or so since I got maybe .5 gram in 4 buckets last trip . hard trip in the 11 km from location 2 water takes a hour and half driving

Would it be possible to take enough water and containers etc to set up recirculation system?
I figure it will be more effort to take the mountain to the water, than the other way around?
Just an idea ;)

Dave

I tried that turned into red soup very quick :)

Thanks for the replys guys, daveggs yeah I'm new here lol, based in penrith so it's a good drive no matter where I head off too. Got a 2" pump today might be a bit big but I'll make it work now to get on the good stuff like retirement stone..

Since you're in Penrith, you're about an hour closer to the Blue Mountains than I am ... A trip out to Oberon, Hill End, Mudgee or Windeyer (like Retirement Stone) would probably be a great place to start? Personally, I would love to make that journey too -- been thinking about a few trips out that way myself (just haven't gotten around to it yet -- or is that a 'round TUIT'? ;))

Dave

Don't worry Dave, there's a few of us from Sydney, I'm sure we can organise a few local trips in the future :) and you're only 10 minutes from me (B'wood) :D

I saw your little post on you tube which is what led me to this club I am in the process of gathering my materials just cant wait to get it build and give it a go

Great to see you're getting into the banking Snowy. If you need any advice on the different internal set ups just send me a PM.

Wal.

Thanks Wal, if your ever up in QLD or near the border I would love to come and watch you in action, I am sure I could learn quite a lot

Head up that way quite often Snowy, but mainly chasing Gemstones in Central QLD, or up around Agate Creek. Will certainly try to catch up for a beer and a chat if I'm passing through.

Cheers Wal.

Ok Wal, when are you going to release the DryWalBanker? DWB :) or should we wait for the rain? Kidding :) rain is coming

After our trip together last weekend at location 106/G, one has certainly got to be on the cards. That 100m stretch could certainly use a "Dry" banker of some sort. Would have very encouraging results. May have to just run the wet banker if we get some rain. ;)

Cheers Wal.

I'm off tomorrow morning at the silly hour off 4 am :) 130km to my gold dirt ( last 11km takes 1.5 hours :). I hope 2 us can shovel and sieve 750Kg dirt before lunch , hope its under 35 C and the flies aren't 2 bad . drive out and run it past my new Walbanker :) I shall make some video : :p

Good luck Col, will be keen to see the pics and video.

I am sure it will be worth it getting up that early.

We never made it to the gold :( the water was 2 times deeper than this earlier crossing .. . backup gold plan as not as deep but flowing faster so we never went in .I think it may be a few weeks before I try my Walbanker :(

That is some insane shizzle my friend.

You need to pop rivet a sluice on the under carriage of your car.

Lucky the gold takes years to travel any distance. It will still be there next time and no wonder its a remote location!

Thanks for the pics mate, make my adventures look like a drive down the freeway!

Hi banksy,

Good luck - I have modified my highbanker (yet again) inspired by Wal and I seem to be getting more gold with the breadcrate. I am off to Oallen tomorrow to do a little exploring with a river sluice - I will be a fair way from the ford and hope this spot gives up some gold.

Cheers
Barry
