Yes! We can't have anyone using tomato paste. Heaven forbid! What if some fool mixed it with Vegemite! Double strength home brew.
We can't have such abuse in our midst!

You can't be serious, why should everyone miss out on something we have grown up with just because some others do the wrong thing, the people who are doing this are the ones who should be penalized, not the law abiding citizens.
They will just end up finding another way, then what, punish everyone for that too.

hey, if its such a bad thing, ban it for everyone. We all have access to vegemite, we all have individuals willing to brew some vege booze. Are we that stupid, to think that only our indigenous people will do it? Or, are we exercising our seemingly god given right, to control a race of people, just because we historically have?

I never mentioned anything about indigenous people, I don't care who it is doing the wrong thing with Vegemite, or anything else for that matter, but just because a minority (whether that be white, black, yellow or brown people etc) do the wrong thing the rest of the citizens shouldn't have to suffer & miss out.

They have banned alcohol is some indigenous communities, so why not ban that for everyone else as well.?

Funny enough we created the alcohol problems in indigenous communities with mining companies gaining tremendously from making communities become alcohol affected then our solution is banning it? Funny how there are millions of alcoholics across Australia and there's no talk of banning it here. It's systemic abuse at its greatest.
