Banning Vegemite is Just about as Un-Australian as Can Be, They say that people are buying it in Bulk and using it to make moonshine, Instead of Banning it why not restrict anyone from buying it in Bulk,
The Indigenous Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion is the person behind this Stupidity, How can someone In such a position Be So Dumb, Surely it would be Smarter just to restrict the Amount that people can Buy, Banning Such A Product will cost Thousands of Jobs and that will Hurt a lot of people and cost the Government Millions in Dole Checks, which will take money from more urgent Issues,

Banning in remote communities is my understanding.

That's how I read it too Zorgs. Not a total ban but in the affected communities. The media is just letting everyone else know it's possible to make alcohol using Vegimite. Stupidity in my opinion.

You can't be serious, why should everyone miss out on something we have grown up with just because some others do the wrong thing, the people who are doing this are the ones who should be penalized, not the law abiding citizens.
They will just end up finding another way, then what, punish everyone for that too.
