Click to expand... Not many chemicals will disolve quartz, you need hydofluric acid, it's extremely dangerous and not worth the risk, you can't even buy it in Aus in a strong enough form.

It is bad stuff, so be safe and take appropriate safety precautions, no matter what volume % is in liquid. :argh: :skull: . .
