last two photos are crap again  :( ,... will have to build a light box like RJ. :D

Just got home from the coast with P305.
Garrett won over the Minelab on this occasion with the 305 only pulling 5c and a dogs collar pendant ,... whereas the 250 pulled a few dollars and maybe 3 sixpences, definately 2, with one pending some serious investigation.
I'll see if I can pop the photos up tomorrow afternoon after I take them in the daylight. :D

Possibly numpty, but it depends a lot on the user and their skillset, same with most machines ,... I just lucked onto a machine (the Ace) that suited my previous skillset and was adaptable in a way it wasn't really designed for, yet got adapted, and it's only just lately that I've started to trust the internals for coins completely how it was meant to be just to gain another edge with it. Certainly works for me, and no real issues with it that have caused grief at all. ;)

That's a well toned silver there Mb, looking really nice, you should enter it in the COM comp. :D
AR, I thought it ( that penny)looked like someone's knife throwing target at first ,... but probably not ! :D

Thanks scottlucky, I still enjoy the thrill of the hunt as often as I can (without getting Mrs S offside too much). ;)

Well here's last nights hunt photos.
The entire hunt.
I promise ,... the photos get better. ;)

Thanks fellas, I better clean up that crusty 6d. 8) :p
Poor P305 just havin a bad night and couldn't get his 305 to see through all the rocks and salt, otherwise he'd a gotten a better result for himself too I recon. :D

Well it's cleaning up slowly ,... with a small amount of persuasion this little bit let go leaving a nice impression.
I'm using less salt(not much in the cupboard) so it's slow going at the moment.
1461927775_sam_7290.jpg

Looks like the star could be pointy. :p
Looked with the loupe ,... it's not pointy at all. :|

Plenty of targets on that beach hunt Silver, nice haul! ;) Poor ol sixpence, looks like Mr Salt took a few bites out of it.

Not enough salt Gp for the job to happen at the correct rate.
That was just the bit of flotsam that fell off in the process.
Here's the coin as it sits right now.
