G'day Goldenbrown,
I'm a bit of a beginner myself so probably can't be of too much help. But if you want to find your Lucky Streak, the new Minelab 7000 seems to be ok.

Yeah mate. Have seen Walshies elite in action and then got to see one of the 17" last Saturday. Really impressed with what I saw mate. Couldn't believe how good the signal was on so small a bit of gold! Don't get me wrong the elite was good also but given Walshie and I do a bit of detecting together we will have the best of both worlds. Put my order in on Monday. I think there's about 15 ahead of me at the place I made the pre order.

I tell you what, there's no point in having it sitting there doing nothing so what's say I come and grab it off you tomorrow! ;)
 
Gday, haven't been on for a while. Been flat out and got a few things in the works at the minute. In the coming weeks I'll let you all in on what they are.
If today is yesterday, I added these 2 to the ranger. With just shy of 17000 lumens its safe to say its pretty bright. The spot and the flood of the beam is very impressive!

They are a great addition to any 4x4. When i drive down our street at night I turn them on and they are fantastic for " close proximity vision" but for the distance i use my HID's to turn night into day. On the back of the roof rack i have a 4 LED spotter for reversing in the bush. Got it from a Council truck. mmmm??!!

Good work mate. As I said last night, I reckon I saw you turn it on from my place!! Thought they had commissioned a new lighthouse between Our two places!
 
Hey Tim, if she is anything like my good wife then the automatic response to her is-well if you got some of YOUR crap out of MY shed then there would be room for it in there!! ha ha
