Also i noticed proper picks on video's but they are expensive,Is there cheaper alternatives?
and are the two coils i have any good?

The small shooter coil is the best you can buy for the GMT with regards to sensitivity on small gold, so between that and stock coil you are pretty much kitted out (aside from a plastic scoop). I have a couple of those bunnings picks, and they are still going fine, though probably not the best in hard ground, and a bit short to get a decent swing up - not that you will be digging huge holes with the GMT.

Get some of those closer fitting gardeners or riggers gloves, the ones you have there will be too bulky and a pain use with the detector controls if you intend to wear them all the time.

You probably won't need the fishing rod. :D

Thanks but I beg to differ. With my luck I might need fishing rod so I don't starve... Lol
Lol.

With the pick, Heat the head until it just melts the plastic
then push it down to the end of the handle and walk away leaving it until it cools.
I did that to mine and I quite like it.
True, Not so good in hard packed ground but it does the job. :D
Also your shovel. Get yourself a plumbers round nose. It will be much easier to use. :D :D

Today I bought our air tickets to fly back to Mackay to pick up the bus. It's been sitting at Cape Palmerston for too long. We don't fly till 25th August because first we have to spend a month up near Sandstone trying to find enough gold to cover the cost of the tickets :)

Some toys for the honda pump.

I'm an idiot though - thinking further ahead I could have done with another 2 of the male threaded coupler. Just another 'Doh!' moment...

Ah well - keeping the shipping companies in business...
