OK, this comp has been going long enough. I've decided to bring the competition to a close at 8 pm tomorrow (Wednesday) night if there are no objections. I think it's run its course and there's plenty to choose from. So at 8 o'clock tomorrow night i'll pull the pin and the avatar with the most 'likes' by that time will win the posting member the artwork of their choice and i'll post it off to them thursday or friday this week. Good luck everyone and thanks for being good sports and getting into the spirit of it :lol:

Awesome. Didn't really expect to win so I just hope you like the avatar as well.

As for the artwork - Post #22 is one that jumps out at me. It's a little looser and I like that style of brushwork. Hopefully you are too attached to it like my partner gets attached to her artwork lol.

Done mate, the Scarlet Robin it is. No, never get attached to them, each one i do is hopefully an improvement over the last. I really like the avatar you've done mate, no idea how to put it up on my posts though :lol: I'll bring the artwork with me on Saturday if that's OK?

And your choice of art work.
Good on you SCROUNGER,... Gold Vac avatar to have to live up to all the time now,..... we all be expecting to see big chuncky mouth watering buckets of nuggets on your posts now,... ever more,...ever more.
Maybe a painting of an old wooden bucket sitting beside a windlass just overflowing with the good stuff,... with a crowd of diggers standing around in awe.
Good on you too for being a giving artist of great character.

Well done Steelpat and all other place getters, I think we all get a little closer through this sort of fun activity that can be engaged by anyone without having to be a rocket scientist or genius to partake..
