Today Rocket and I went back to the Honey Hole I mean spot I found yesterday that's full of coins and never been detected. Apparently I don't have the authority to declare a honey hole without Rocket,s approval. ;)

Had a good day. Plenty of pennies and a few silvers. It was a challenging spot as it is full of slag, scrap and burnt material which made it very noisy and difficult digging. I put my small coil on at lunch break and found it better at picking out the good targets from the noisy background. I think Rocket may have out silvered me today :D I did get 1 florin... 1947 for a change  plus 2 rams head shillings. I think the most trash by weight I have ever brought home.

I have to give RJ credit for this.............new HH! Yes its a honeyhole, and prob never detected. The ground is full of rocks, slag, and coke, or burnt coal. The digging is tough, hard not to scatch finds. The soil is tough on 50% silvers as well, some of mine are very sad.Top day!

I got a half penny sunbaker yesterday and we both picked a couple of BBs up off the ground. 2 things. coins can't sink through the stones. no one has been there before us. At least a few more day in it. Then go back when we upgrade. Tomorrow for Rocket if he could, I'm sure.

Tell em who you really gave credit to and what you christened it! :p

The silvers in that area sure were toasted. Luckily the florins were in better soil. :D

Would love to know also, lol. :D

If you're finding sunbakers you know it's gonna be good. I found a couple of near sunbakers at my honey hole and it's still producing months later.

Ok, I was going to be polite, but.......Awhile back RJ said, that his missus told him about this site. Today, when we finally hit it, he wanted to give it HH status, and claimed it as his discovery!! Well, it takes both of us to agree, when giving a site HH status. Finally I voted yes, and said "so we shall call it Marg's HH" Then, it dawned upon me, that what I said was a bit rude lol.
