Weekend Prospector might be worth another look in Season 3 starting September.
They've announced Andrew Bales (Geologist) will be the host for Season 3

Probably still same format of an advertising program but Andrew should be a much better host that could provide some good insight?

Saw those episodes. One was almost emu egg size.

Currently watching the New Weekend Prospector. So far this bloke rocks excuse the pun. 150% better than the old show. He know what he's talking about. Brilliant. Love it.

Only thing that nicked me off was that it only went for half an hour.

Just watched it too Wishfull. No bullshitting like the previous DH presenter, just fact & educational.

1/2 hour is not long enough. Be nice to spend a day or longer out in the field with people like him.

Watched Series 3 sometime ago, mentioned to a friend and he said did I remember seeing the Bendigo segment and the guy from Miners Den had a new 7000 with a Nugget Finder Coil?

Nah... I did not see a New 7000 with NF Coil, just a 7000, so I would'nt make a good detective as I miss clues.

Ah good Ol Jack I liked his show as a kid and bought a few Dvd's when our boys were little tackers they loved it too.

Dont watch the tv prospecting shows much, but I do watch you tube clips.
Pioneer pauly and vogus are my two main shows, even though there is not much detecting, I prefer to watch them.
