I checked out a spot at around noon, but it was too hot to continue
... And i couldnt relax for fear of snakes
I just didnt feel comfortable ,so took that as a sign to leave

This badge/emblem is pretty cool. There is evidence it was once fully chromed

Bloody solid lump it is . About 3/8" thick

Another short hunt late this arvo (different spot)

I thought the first target was a crusty florin... Until i got home and cleaned it
Its the guts of an old watch
Still managed a couple of little ones though

And a nice early Vic half penny

I noticed that one of my regular sites has been slashed recently , so thats where i spent about 5 hours of my day

I guess you can figure which site

Im not sure if i will be able to identify the hallmarks, but it could be a silver spoon

Another George III penny ... I think this one is 1806

Its pretty hard get the detail in the photo but the base below Brittania is straight
Fortunately , I also got a few silvers for my effort
